The 350+ NHS Careers Programme has been shortlisted for ‘Workforce Initiative of the Year’ in the HSJ Awards! The awards recognise outstanding contributions to healthcare, and to be shortlisted means a lot to our team, who work to create amazing experiences for children and young people in schools and a range of education settings across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, helping them learn about the brilliant careers they can have in the NHS. Over the last academic year, our team have worked with 40,000 children and young people.
A record-breaking 1456 entries have been received for this year’s Awards, with 223 projects and individuals reaching the final shortlist, making it the biggest awards programme in the award’s 43-year history. We’re proud to be shortlisted alongside some amazing projects from across the country. Winners will be announced on November 16th in London – good luck to all participants!
