The NHS 350+ Programme not only enlightens students of all ages to the number of jobs available within the NHS, but also dispels the myth that all roles involve a ‘hands-on’ medical/care element.
The NHS is the UK’s largest employer, with its clinical staff providing medical care and treatment at its core.
There are, however, a vast team of non-clinical staff who play vital roles in supporting, educating and developing what the NHS can offer.

What is 350+?
350+ is an education outreach programme across HIOW aimed at students aged 5–18yrs. It introduces students to the breadth of roles available within our NHS (350+), across both clinical and non-clinical jobs.
Meet our people
The NHS isn’t solely made up of doctors and nurses! It’s a creative and diverse workforce, filled with employees of all academic levels and social backgrounds. Hear from real NHS staff about their jobs.
Schools
Our programme aims to link school curriculum subjects to real-life roles within the NHS and give students the opportunity to hear from staff in those areas. We are very passionate about students understanding the NHS is a workplace where they will be valued for their individual skills/talents and nurtured through a lengthy career within it.
